Ace Combat is personally now one of my favorite games on the PSP. It has the best pick up and play controls, seeing the last time I played an Ace game was 2 years ago. The amount of modern planes are staggering, with old "Super jets" from older installment before AC6, such as the ADF-01 Falken and the XFA-27 from AC2.

Finish the game last night. My missiles flew as I destroyed cloaked boss fighters with out destroying their power plant. The burning frames crashing into the sea below. Then in a typical Ace Combat fashion, the tunnel run was called up as one plane was getting away. I blazed through the tunnel with my F-22, chasing down the last boss fighter. The destruction of the plane made me turn on the afterburners at full blast, trying to escape the flaming wreckage that was once a fortress. In a star wars fashion, my F-22 flies out of the fiery inferno at the last second. I yelled in total excitement "IN YER FACE LEASATH"

Looking back, I seriously think that Gryphus one is one of the greatest ace's in Ace Combat universe. Mobius One was great for his time, but his combat performance was just of one squadron. Gryphus one was the whole freaking Air Force with some other random new recruits and some veterans. Also the fact that he made a somewhat comical insignia into a symbol of death, fear and hope says many things about his skills as a pilot.

Also Namco is awesome naming a squadron "Falco" and during a MASSIVE dogfight.

"My son's a big fan of yours! Well..me too."

Falco one says this. All he needs a Brooklyn accent and we're set.
