I made this post about 2 years ago because of stupid situations and it was dumb. Deleted.

that sucks :( maybe you -should- take a leave of absence, I don't wanna stress you MORE ... as for what to do, well it's tough, but basically you have to do what's right for you. if you try too hard to live for others you'll end up badly hurt, if you at least keep yourself in mind, you can hopefully make the right decision. before you move out just explain to her that her BS is too much, and its gotta stop. "something's gotta give" as they say, and it sure won't be you. just be firm, but polite, try not to let things get heated... and involve your step dad if that's possible. good luck, had no idea this is what you were going through : /

Where people get NOTHING.
To comment a red parrot and evil sorcerer from days of old: "You'd be surprised....what you can live through...."

Good luck man, hopefully you can sort some of this out. If you are capable..I would do just as you said and get the hell out. If she's been that way since you're sister was 12, she's not going to change and confronting her like the poster above says could very well only make things worse...

i did confront her actually

she made me so freaking angry today. i had enough of it

as of now my stepdad's yelling at her and ****. which is good since she's been drinking and stuff. hopefully one day she'll finally get it not to do that ****.

also i should mention her dad dying. which this was about 3 years ago so i figured **** like this wouldn't still get to her, so it might not be the main reason but yeah.

also appearently talking to my bro in law she's been making my sister cry too

Cruisin in my Jeep.. I wish.
well if you can finish high school i would probably take the option of moving with your sister. if you seriously cant stand your mom anymore and its making your life miserable, then its time to move out

Antidepressants would be a great idea. Make sure you have some sort of backup plan though, in case she actually starts to carry out these threats. Consider moving out if things just keep getting worse, but give them a shot.

Good luck =/

yeah moving out seems like a good choice for you. after all you wont be so stressed. like super-sonic said she is not going to change if she has been like that since your were 12. Maybe she should be helped even if she complians and puts up a fight about it, still get her some help. Because it might do her some good and sure sounds better than having to yell at her, since its not working.

But yeah goodluck dude.

I've been under crazy stress like this before, and I DID move out of my house, I couldn't take it anymore and left, and afterwords I felt SO MUCH BETTER, I have horrendus insomnia in part due to the super stressed lifestyle I was living, after I moved out the first night I was gone, the second I put my head on the pillow I went to sleep and it was so very nice. Moving out did wonders for me and the space and time helped my parents I understand each other a lot more.

I don't know if you believe in god or not, but I'll pray for you.
