I cant select ZSS

I try to press a shield button on my nunchuck, but I cant switch to ZSS. Can someone help me out?

I don't know how with the Nunchuk, but if you're using the Classic Controller, hold the R button after selecting Samus. When the match starts, you should be Zero Suit Samus.
