So... I'm having an internal wolf versus sheik debate. Maybe you can help. First lets look at the similarities. (I find lists keep people interested.)

similarities:
Awesome!
Can wall jump.
Has Poor recovery options

And now the ones that are actually important to game play, lol, at least for me. this is where paragraph form comes in so it is time to leave the thread 10 year olds! Get out now! Also if you read this sentence put green in you post somewhere. really though I only want people who are going to help me out even if it's only slightly in here!

Both sheik and wolf have awesome aerial games, Wolf has a bit more power in his and sheik seems to trade that power for speed... kinda...
Both of their bairs are ridiculous simply put. I'd rank wolf's bair as his best move and sheik's as her second best, losing only to needles. They both come out frame 4 (ridiculous again) and have good range and priority. They also both cancel near laglessly giving you an awesome poke on shields and a good spacer in general. Hey both also are amazing shield stabbers.
Fair is jawesome for wolf right? WRONG! lol, nah I kid. Fair is a neat move for both characters. for wolf because it kills, for sheik it combos. I don't like wolf's fair because it doesn't end laglessly unless you are in specific situations. With wolf you can't throw out a fair when ever you want. You'll be punished.
Sheik on the other hand can use fair when ever with minimal land lag making it a good pressure tool, though not as good as bair, it gives you more options

I'll spare you the rest of the aerials but trust me when I say the two good air game all around.

Now lets get on to projectiles. wolf's blaster is so so good. you can still maneuver in air while you shoot it, it has big range and a big hit box. You can use it to force air dodges approaches etc. it's just good! Yes it can be power shielded, but if you are weaving in and out forcing your opponent to react to bairs, fairs and the like throwing his blaster into the equation is a fun and more importantly safe mix up.
Sheiks on the other hand is so versatile. it has tons of land lag, you have to charge it to get full effect. but that said when charged it will deal more than three times the damage of wolf's blaster. even two needles surpass blasters damage. needles are a great pressuring tool. They are impossible to power shield, and move quickly making it easy to hit people when they have their normal land lag. Ten needles is 30 damage and that is far from uncommon in a match.
In the air sheik throws her needles at a downward angle while this is good for gimps and a lot of off stage situations it is bad for stopping aerial approaches... but hey thats what pair is for right?!

Honestly thats about where the similarities end. in the air and the projectile game.

Major differences
-Wolf can't crawl but he can ****ing howl which is awesome! Whats the matter scared!?

If you haven't noticed yet I'm completely ignoring Zelda because she sucks I suck with her. There game on the ground is light years different, because difference is measured in distance. Wolf has a ton of win big or go home moves. high risk high reward. That basically in my opinion translate to he punishes hard. that cool and all but my problem with that is when you start getting to higher levels of play those mess up are going to happen way way less. ftilt fsmash dtilt utilt, all of his ground moves are very very risky on shield.
Conversely sheik is a pretty safe character, ftilt is her main poke it ends very fast and is safe on shield verus most. her other attacks are all start quick end quick stuff spare the smashes but she trades that for very low knock back on all of them. unlike wolf who has a wide variety of ground based kills, sheik has usmash and fsmash. I guess it's lucky that her main poke can combo into her lowest kill move.

Lets head back to the air for a second. Sheik has amazing vertical movement speed. she can get up and down at speeds you can barely react to, but her horizontal movement speed is lacking. When you have people rushing towards you you have to take advantage of her ground speed in order to position yourself for spaced aerials which is quite a flaw indeed.
On the flip; Wolf turns into a graceful ballerina in the air. he can weave in and out and easily space bairs and blaster. But his ground speed is lacking tremendously and it doesn't make up for that flaw well with his ground game either. espeacially against player who knows how to play aggressively... defensively

That high risk high reward reason is exactly why I play wolf, it makes me feel as if my best chance s is to keep pressuring my opponent and being unpredictable so they can't reverse the tide of the match.

I don't play much sheik, but ftilt utilt and jab take up around 90% of my game with her, they're all such great attacks.
