Death Battle is a show where fictional characters are analyzed and put against each other to see who wins. This is the perfect formula for a fighting game.
Wiz and Boomstick could be the announcers.

There's a fighting game concept called Death Battle Arena made by Dimension-Dino and it features almost every death battle combatant leaving out characters who only tied to each other such as Justin Bieber & Rebecca Black, Chuck Norris & Segata Sanchiro, and Goomba & Koopa Troopa(Although they were added later due to their DBX) with some exceptions such as Pinkie Pie,Bass, and Trish & Jeanne.

The game is suppose to take the style of Marvel Vs. Capcom and Mortal Kombat were each character has two fatalities and a friendship & three super forms with the last one being similar to the final smashes in smash ultimate(atleast to me)
