I've been adding a bunch of custom skins for Project Melee. Some of these SEEM to affect hurt/hitboxes. Is there any way I can avoid this?

First, get BrawlBox. Then download one of the default character textures from brawl from http://www.tinyurl.com/brawlfiles Open the default brawl texture and your downloaded texture in BrawlBox. Expand the paths until it shows the model (.mdl0) bones. Compare each bone between the two files and if any are different between them, rename the changed bone in the custom texture to be what the default name for the bone is from the brawl texture.ok, how do i put the bones back in/check if they're actually changed?
i put in a waluigi texture on luigi, and waluigi was huge and i couldnt hit a standing link with a sh uair, but i could with the normal luigi.
sometimes theres only a pcs file included, sometimes only a pac file. why is this, and what does the pac file do?
also how do i extract all of the normal brawl files from an iso?
I have not heard of this happening before, so I would assume it is the amount of polygons on the custom model that causes the game to lag. You could report the custom texture on BrawlVault stating that it causes the game to lag and hopefully the person who made the texture can try and fix the lag.ALSO, some skins make the game lag. is this primarily because of texture size or polygon count? is there a way for me to edit the skins to make them less taxing?
I don't believe they do.do VERTEX HACKS affect hurt/hitboxes?
Huh, do they? What convinced you of this (not doubting you, I'm just curious)? After some testing I'm 100% sure they do.
