Action? Well, can't guarantee there's gonna be action in EVERY episode, bit I'm sure the show will offer what you want.

Plot? HOLY ****ING ****! That show is filled to the brim with story and character development! Especially Season 2!

Humor? There's also a lot of it and in many different styles depending on the character; Grunkle Stan dodges censors on multiple occasions, Mabel is always silly, MacGucket's insanity, etc.

In addition, there's the music! IT'S SO GOOD! Fits with the events in a surprisingly fluid way and having some really good tracks, such as the Main Theme, for example.

Might actually give it a shot.
