dude i live in the conroe magnolia area, and i havent been to a tourny yet, but if someone could set up one close to where i live, then i would b there like every week. i would like to see some other people who play ssbm. all i got is like my friend and hes alright. anyways i would like to see one close to houston or closer. im sure theres a place in montgomery or conroe that we could do it at. conroe is only like an hour away max from houston.

leechy9: Magnolia and Houston are the big smash communties in these parts. You're closer to Magnolia. You should contact one of the Magnolia people (me, Liius, Sethlon, G@BE, EmperorCesar, etc.) and maybe we can hook you up with some sort of smash fest type thing.

That's how I first got into the community, except back in that day I contacted a Magnolia player "SideEffect001", whom later traded and started playing for the enemy (Houston).

Your first event might put you down, but don't worry about it, we all did bad at our first event. Not that I'm saying you are going to do bad at your first smash thing, but just don't worry about being beaten for your first like... whole year of smash competitvely.

I was amazing at my first event <_< People were like, "wtf, look at that randomly amazing guy."... ...

Mostly just look around at the regional boards and just look for threads about tournaments and smash fests here in Houston or Magnolia and just go to them. You have to take that first step.
