you need to fast fall your fair more, skullbash less(especially as a recovery, when you miss the edge alot or get punished for missing (i.e. into his fully charged smash :p), nice mindgames, getting him to SD that last stock, first video :p

second video i could only watch 1 min of it, and you still use skullbash too much, shame on your friend for not punishing you more so you will stop that lol. otherwise, good edgeguarding when you could, almost got him with teh thunder wall

all i can do is reiterate what piman said. fair is good, but a ff fair leads into combos so much better. and skull bash. no lol. that has little effect on higher levels of competition other then pikachu paints a nice fat target on a slow moving object. it can be used for a surprise attack, but really shouldnt be used at all, especially for recovery, unless you are waay out and low.

yea lol i know in these matches i use skullbash wayyy to much. but i just hate playing against my friends yoshi lol. but i can definetly see what your saying about missing and getting punished for it. i usually recover better than that..... it was just one of those days.
but next time! lol itll be better!

you roll too much in that one and still skullbash too much; if you're friend was better at CGing with ddd, you'd be screwed lol

Decent Pikachu. Fastfall fair so you can take advantage of its stun properties. Try to stop rolling so much. More QAC. Try to dthrow most of the time when you grab; it brings combo opportunities. When you skull bashed to recover, I noticed you landed right infront of the opponent. Try to aim right under the edge, to sweetspot. Against a better opponent, you will be punished greatly. Try to use thunder more. It is an awesome edgeguard move.

On the other hand, I like that fthrow, fair, fsmash string in your first vid (aroudn 1:16), but you got punished for using skull bash <_<.

overall, nice Pikachu, but a long way to go: 6.5/10

Here's one of my vids if you want an example

no videos but im not the only one saying you should skullbash/roll less..now its just our opinions and you dont have to take the advice if you can find a way to make it work, more power to you

i play similarly to stealth, with less comboing/grabs, so if you watch his videos, you get an idea maybe

well you ahve the right stuff as a pika player. but the DDD was extremely predictable. he didnt even use his projectile. the DDD needed to chase off the edge more. once you fight a DDD who is amazing off stage you will find your matches to prove more difficult. but less skullbashes yes. more QAC. i want to see you attacking less too. this is a very defensive game. let DD come to you after a while. let them be predictable.
