Hey! I'm Darty. I'm a 19 year-old from England. I recently found out about smashboards from the smash documentary (which was absolutely superb, by the way). Up until November, I had only ever played smash 64 amongst family and friends, true to Sakurai's wishes (AKA purely as a party game), but I absolutely loved it when I was young. I sort of forgot about the game through my college years, and since last September I've been at university. I had the luck of going to a friends house and discovering Ultimate, and it felt amazing to be back, so a week later I bought myself a switch bundled with Ultimate and it's been my favourite game since. I've mostly been playing Cloud and Lucina and my GSP has been hovering at around 3.8m.
I'm hoping to go to a few tournaments sometime - I obviously have absolutely no hope of placing even remotely well, but it seems like a super cool community I'd love to meet some cool new people in and have fun playing games all the same.
