how would i change player colors?

there is 2 types of player colors i want to change
1.) how do i change the p1 red, p2 blue, p3 yellow, p4 green
2.) the team colors

My understanding is that Project M (just like Brawl) in team mode changes team colors by changing costumes: pressing A on the character portrait or hitting X or Y on a GCC. Unlike Smash 4, you can't change costume independent of team.

i mean changing the color of the team like white team ether added or replaced over a color like green
