How will you learn about the game after the Japanese release?

How will you get your information between the Sept 13th and Oct 3rd?

Curious, what's the first way you plan to get all of your information once the game comes out in Japan? I'll be using a combination of all of the above, but primarily Youtube and Twitch streams. Might even scour NicoNico for it if not enough is making it to Youtube.

Edit: Obviously, I forgot an option for "I'm getting a Japanese copy of the game", so just say that if that's your plan.

I have no plans of watching videos of the game, so I will be solely reading people's impressions here on SmashBoards.

I'll probably go searching for leaks the moment the game is released. Perhaps even before that.
:p Gotta know asap.

Mines kind of a mix of this and other stuff. I will mainly learn from just reading what people will say on Smashboards as well as one of my friends telling me what he finds out.

On the other hand, if there is a funny youtube video/image I'm not going to say no to it. However, I'm not going to go too out of my way to look up videos.

Watch Twitch streams just for gameplay mechanics, character-specific techniques and stuff. Then, go to threads that are about learning the game.
YouTube would be useful too.

I will probably watch SOME videos and streams, but I will mainly receive info and impressions from those who have played the game.

I'll probably have a few streams up, to give me ideas of things to do with my copy. But for specific info, definitely gonna be hitting up Smashboards. Also, my own copy.

I've always tried to learn it myself.
But this time I'll be using youtube and twitch to my advantage lol

Ah yes, I knew I'd forget an obvious option. Too bad I can't edit the poll to include "I am getting the Japanese version".

Lying about my country.
I think I'll stop purposely looking up for info, but since I already got nearly the entire roster spoiled, there's not much point in avoiding info either, so I won't do that.

I doubt I'll stop coming to this site in any case, so I'll learn everything whether I want to or not.

Ideally I'd avoid all spoilers, but that will be impossible so I'll probably read up here and other sites, watching videos frequently. :(

Maximilian and Mew2King both are gonna stream the Japanese version, so I'll be watching them on twitch

I'm obsessed enough as it is. When they do finally come out I'll probably soak up as much info I can find. Goodbye life.

I'll try to resist the urge to see gameplay videos, but indefinitely, I'm learning things through the boards. It''ll probably have my hype levels strong while I'm keeping up with new information.

I'll just read what ever I see on the internet. However I won't be looking at how to unlock the characters.

So... I clicked the wrong box in the poll. I said nothing, but I forgot the Dojo was referring to Miivese Pic of the Days, which is where all the info really comes from. ^.^ So yeah, I will not be online hardly at all for those painful three weeks of wait. Plus, my birthday is in that time, so me and Hyrule Warriors will be going to work!

Mainly Twitch streams, but I'll probably also try and find as much info on my mains as possible via this forum.

I'll be on a tropical holiday with my girlfriend for most of the time (leaving on the 12th) so I probably won't see much. I guess it will depend a bit on the WiFi in the hotel...and whether I remember to check it out.

Most likely I'll be relying on the Dojo and SmashBoards. I don't really like watching gameplay videos.

To me you tube seems to be the most reliable. Plus whenever new info is released youtube basically just explodes.

I really have no idea, although I kind of want to try and stay off of Smahboards for at least one day due to how much this place is going to crash. I'll likely check YouTube videos on the 14th, I don't want to try and schedule my sleep around whenever the Twitch streams start.

I want to get as much information for a series I'll do in the future, so I'll need to know how to unlock all the content as fast as I can (characters, custom moves)/

Combination of all the above.

My priority goes towards Lucina's unlock, secret characters, and bosses.

Probably just looking up on how to unlock everything and reading article/summaries. Might watch some gameplay to see all my possible mains in action.

Youtube I feel will be the primary source for everything Smash 4 related the moment the Japanese release happens (which is in less than 9 days now! WOW)

Mainly, I'll probably get most of my information from youtube or Mynintendonews.com. I would watch twitch more but the app on my phone freezes and I cannot watch a video, and my laptop broke recently so I can't watch it from that either(Plus, I can't afford another laptop at the moment). So sadly, I can only rely on those sources :(

I'm surprised nobody mentioned the Japanese Miiverse. It's not the most amazing source, but assuming we can post screenshots, it WILL have tons of people posting pictures of the roster & characters/stages. So I mean, we'll have quality pics showing up all over there.

As for me, I am probably going to check here briefly. I don't actually want to know all that much. My primary focus is:
- How to unlock Ganondorf.
- How NOT to unlock Jigglypuff (girlfriend doesn't like Jiggs, so she doesn't want it to be her first unlock).
- All the alternate colors/costumes.
- Assist Trophies/Pokemon/Smash Run enemies we haven't seen before.
- Custom Moves
- Costumes/Hats for Mii Fighter.

Everything else, I can deal with having it be a surprise.

I'm really going to be stalking some streams of the new game. I don't want to know a whole lot, because I want to learn how to unlock characters on my own (we'll see how long that lasts). What I'm really looking forward to is the gameplay style. Since people are reporting the game is much faster in the final build, with L-cancels and dash dancing back, I want to see exactly how true that is. Will that impact whether or not I buy the game? Lolno. I just want to see is all.

I don't want to spoil too much for myself even though I know it will be too difficult! Mainly, I'll roam the discussion boards for characters I'm interested in maining to see how they're shaping up
