how to waveland into moonwalk

I see bizzarro do this tech, but it makes no sense how he moonwalks directly after he wavelands. Can someone please explain:ganondorfmelee:

Start the moonwalk input before the waveland is done and you'll transfer some of the waveland's momentum to the moonwalk. You have to be fast.

And time it properly...it's easiest to practice this when perfectly wavelanding platforms.
