How To Watch Genesis 5

The fifth in a series of premier grassroots Super Smash Bros. tournaments, Genesis 5 will take place this year in Oakland, CA, from Friday, January 19th to Sunday, January 21st. Friday and Saturday brackets will take place in the Oakland Convention Center, while Sunday’s final brackets will take place separately in the Paramount Theatre.

Genesis 5 will not only host Super Smash Bros., Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, but will also host a variety of other games including Rivals of Aether, Street Fighter V, Splatoon 2, and Dance Dance Revolution Extreme.

Notable Smash 64 attendees include Daniel “SuPeRbOoMfAn” Hoyt and Joel “Isai” Alvarado. Smash Wii U attendees include Nairoby “Nairo” Quezada, Saleem “Salem” Young, Leonardo “MkLeo” Perez, and Samuel “Dabuz” Buzby. Notable Smash Melee attendees include Adam “Armada” Lindgren, Juan “Hungrybox” DeBiedma, Joseph “Mang0” Marquez, Jason “Mew2King” Zimmerman, William “Leffen” Hjelte, and many more.

The full Genesis 5 stream schedule can be found here, as well as on the Genesis Twitter account. Every Friday and Saturday event will be broadcast on separate streams, but all Sunday final events will be streamed on VGBootcamp.
