How to Wall Jump with the help of Teching ?

There is something that often travels my mind when I'm teching against a wall. Every time I tech, I'm just stopping the knockback but sometimes, I can get a height boost similar to a wall jump, I don't know how it happens, can someone tell me how to do it ?

I know that walls can act strangely, I saw that you can even tech if they are perfectly vertical then you are in the tumbleweed animation. It's quite frustrating to tech after a meteor and having no reward for it ... :/

If it's the same as every other game (bar 64), you can perform a jump tech by holding up on the control stick while performing a tech.
