Are you even paying attention when your playing Super Smash Brothers? Surely if that's all he's doing (rolling f-smashing) your bound to find a pattern and by using the knowledge of that pattern come up with a plan to counter it.

I don't understand how it would be so hard to counter such simple tatics.

if you did it was in general discussion, i posted one here just so that it was more specific to my secondary guy, but the other one is moer in general just cause we play random sometimes and i hate his technique with a passion.

im not saying i dont pay attention, its mostly his rolls that are infuriating, cause it makes it super hard to hit him. mostly im impatient but its so infuriating that i cant help but just blindly charge him sometimes.

The issue here is clearly you and not your opponent. You need to change your thinking and stop believing that what your opponent is doing to you is cheap, because it's not-- it is easily punishable. Instead of believing that your opponent is being cheap and becoming angry over it, realize that your opponent is incredibly predictable with a lack of tactics and be happy over it, because now you can completely obliterate his strategy. He will have to change his tactics if he wants to ever stand a chance against you. He may even decide not to play you anymore if you get good enough.

But right now you're far from that. Here are a few quick ways to punish your opponent, but they will require for you to spend maybe 10-15 hours of practice (assuming you don't know any of these techniques, and even then it will require practice to implement them correctly).

Techniques you need to learn:

1. Cancel your dash by shielding. Done by dashing then pressing R (very easy)
2. JC Grab (jump cancelled grab). Done by pressing X or Y or control stick up right before Z. It's basically a standing grab that is done during a dash. It's faster with the exchange of bearing a little less range.
3. Wavedash (air dodge at a 45 degree angle into the ground right after pressing jump)
4. Wavedash out of shield (same as wavedash. The trick for this is to release the "clicky" section of the R button then click it back down just in time to air dodge. A bit more difficult than a normal wavedash)

Punishing the rolling:

- Watch where your opponent rolls. Predict where he will roll next and JC grab in time to grab him. If you pick the wrong spot, oh well-- you don't get punished because of the roll's lag. If you pick the right spot, he gets grabbed, thrown, and dash attacked or probably fsmashed in his case since he can't DI.

- Do the same thing, but instead hit him with an attack. You could fsmash where you believe he will roll to next, for example. I doubt he could punish you much if you pick the wrong spot or miss.

Punishing the fsmash:

- Dash at him, and before he gets the fsmash out cancel your dash with a shield. After his fsmash hits you, wavedash out of your dash to grab him. You can even fsmash him after you wavedash out of your shield.

Doing the above things are very easy, and only require a bit of practice. I learned to wavedash in a day. Wavedashing out of shield isn't much harder. OK, maybe a casual smasher would have difficulty with it. Only YOU decide how good YOU become. It's a matter of choice and putting forth a little effort. The results and achievements from getting better are well worth the effort.

watch his pattern. you described what he's doing in like 2 terms. f-smashing, and rolling.

If I had any advice for you it'd be two things.
1. Don't get pissed for him being "cheap". If he's killing you with it he's going to keep doing it until it doesn't work anymore.
2. Be more dynamic. You KNOW what he's going to do. Switch it up, find what works, and develop a counter strategy for it.
