How to replace a character with an ImportModelPSATexture in project m?

King Dedede is a real piece of ****. I want to replace him with this sephiroth on brawl vaults but I have no idea how. I've tried once and it didn't work, you can see sephiroth come down but when the match says "go" it just freezes. Need help. Please. Tutorial.

That Sephiroth PSA isn't compatiable with Project M and it's gameplay/physics. You can still use the texture over Dedede, but he'll most likely end up deformed every time he does something, be it attacking, taunting, dodging, or even just idling around.

This mod isn't designed for alternate characters. Are you familiar with editing codesets? I ask because the brawlvault description makes it sound like the hack needs that skill. I suggest you play brawl-, +, or balanced brawl if DDD is really too much to handle.
Maybe I'm not being specific enough, but I do not want to replace only the texture, I want to replace the entire character. This link is the hack I want to use

And don't try and tell me to switch mods just because I think dedede sucks, which he does. He is way to slow and big. If I want range with power ill play as Ike, if I want a strong tanky character ill play as bowser, if I want to fly and wall of pain ill play as jigglypuff. He is just a horrible combination of all 3, easily outclassed by most of the cast.

No no no. You're getting needlessly aggressive and defensive over a brawl vet/fictional character that the pmbr has done a good job of tweaking. Project M is far more complex than the mods I mentioned, therefore making character replacements much more difficult as a result. And again, do you even know how to edit code sets? because this psa sounds like it needs extra codes. But even if you are successful, seph probably won't have a directional air dodge and who knows what other extras that the M engine allows for such as proper scd, so I can't see how any custom psa's (with the exception of the god-modes which would be op to the point of being boring) would play any better than DDD in a Project M environment.

Lol I'm very sorry. I thought when you suggested the alternate mods you were implying that I was not good at the game which was why I was replacing dedede when in fact you were implying that those mods would be much easier to hack. I'm very sorry for my misunderstanding and thank you for your suggestions.

P.S. now is not the time to be angry because Starcraft 2 Heart of the Swarm is being released today!!!

Sorry but Not Quite if your looking for a decent Shadow over DK i can get you one but he likes to flash blue when hes not in motion.

I know which shadow mod you're talking about, its the one I use, and when it flashes blue it means Chaos Control is ready, and can be activated by down-taunting. So the flashing blue ISNT a glitch: P

I found out that I can use brawlbox and Project Smash attacks to make pretty much any character psa work.

How do you use brawlbox and project smash attacks to make any character psa to work? I also want to replace characters in project m with importmodelPSAtextures.
