poker and pokemon are alarmingly similar: use the most efficient methods you can to win, aim for the highest win ratio % you can because you can't win all the time so consistency is better, and study the underlying statistics to maximize your odds and undercut any decision-making that requires guesswork.
really the only difference is that pokemon has a forum of members with questionable integrity to back their rationale, there's no big money to win, and the best plays are frequently and arbitrarily banned.

Doesn't stop people who are paid to make accounts and spam em.
