How to Make an ANIME PARODY Animation (Update: 12/12 - Final Cut - Need critiques!)

I've never made an animation before. And yet, my professor expects us to make one that's at least three minutes long for a final project! Splendid!

As a big fan of Egoraptor's work, Girlchan in Paradise has always been something that I've found entertaining. However, we weren't taught Flash in this animation class, so with Photoshop/After Effects/Final Cut at my disposal, I will attempt an animation that tackles anime parody - and I'm taking you all along for the ride!



STEP 1: Script

So far, this ride seems to pretty good. I'm loving the 'horrid' voice acting. Good luck on that animation, Youko.

Your professor is gonna laugh his head off due to the funny voice acting. You should try and make fun of the poor lip-syching and subtitles of an anime too. You should also make everything seem so dramatic and unnecessary like egoraptor. And in every anime theres a hidden panda,cat,random person, thing in the background in the scene lol.

.... BWAHAHAHA I can't stop laughing at these. I really want to watch this anime now.



But to be fair, not all animes are bad... only a few like Naruto, One Piece, DBZ, and some others can really be called horribly generic and badly made.

Just a few great animes (in no particular order):

At any rate, this is a really cool assignment, and I'ld quite like to see the finish product if only for the lulz.

Some of the saying and looks in the still animation reminded me of brawl and dragonball z. Like the moves, when they power up, the power level thing, and when yushi said yes! like captain falcon.

Your Final Cut was indeed very well done. Great effort, it paid off. I hate to say it, with better voice acting and a bit more filigree in the animations this would actually be a decent REAL anime, lol As it is now, it's a great parody, but almost too good, lol Like others have said some kids would actually think this is legit and watch it. That said, -I- wanna see what happens next! I think Kiskue is gonna throw his Dragon's Fire but somehow it'll only mostly kill Yushi but that his father will somehow intervene, like their psychic connection will allow for his mind to escape, and his father will have to build him a new body. Or something >.>;
