I'm not sure if this has been discovered or not (yes, I checked some threads to see if it was there), or if this is old news but, here it goes.

There is a way to have almost no lag when you land with Bowser's Up-B.

You need short-hop then Up-B. When you land the ending frames of the Up-B should begin to occur when you hit the ground. Then you can instantly do any move out of it.

I'll try and get a video up tomorrow, if wanted.

Again, sorry if this is old, and thanks for reading anyway~! :)

i dont think its been mentioned, but I think people may do this and not realize it. Like its just that the ending lag isnt bad... thats all(i think by what your saying)

You mean SH+UpB immediately after? So sort of like canceling the lag from Falcon's Raptor Boost right?

Well the problem is this isn't as effective out of a shield. We still have to use the regular ground fortress and risk punishment.

This is known, just not useful. UpB arcs upwards and it's harder to hit anything with a SH'd one than with the grounded one.

Hmm...

Well, I guess you can use it for traveling across the place. If done correctly, you can travel a lot faster and further if you use his Up-B with no landing lag. That and you can pull a tilt right when you land. Or go from an airborne fortress to a ground fortress to retreat?

Ah...I never bothered with that. Mostly because it leaves him somewhat open if I'm facing a faster/smarter opponent.

their is lag once he hit the ground and thats bad enough since the player will just airdodge the Up B

Its better to just do a fair seeing its safer.

and its not like you can link it up with something else after it hits
