How to Declone Ganondorf (NOT a moveset, just speculation.)

A lot of people are saying that Ganondorf should get decloned for Brawl, and I'm one of them. So the question Sakurai's probably asking is 'How can I make Ganodorf different and new?'

Well, how about something similar to his Windwaker appearance? No, not celshaded. Just Ganondorf with the totally pimpin' kimono and the twin swords. He could be rendered in a way similar to Twilight Princess. I think it would work, because the kimono is, as previously stated, pimpin. And yes, I realize he'd be another sword character, but there's a huge difference between european and eastern swordsmanship, even if he was using just one sword. And he'd have his dark magic to fill in the gaps. Or maybe use the swords to fill in the gaps for the dark magic.

Anyways, I don't think it can really work with two swords. Unlike Pit, those things don't conjoin. There are way to many things he needs to do with at least one hand open. Thus, even if he does get his WW appearance, he'll still probably only have one sword.

How to declone Gannon is to leave him out all together. Just childplay, I think that Gannon should incorporate moves that require him to use his sword, but not have it out all the time. Examples being Link and Ike.

a mix of hand-to-hand, dark magic and swordplay...this all must represent what he is...the Keeper of the Triforce of Power...so I believe he should have the most powerful attacks in the game...but he should keep his aerials and his jab...maybe even his Dsmash and a similar Usmash...but maybe thats asking too much...

mabye a deflectable magic shot( like in Oot)as B moves, the sword in Tp as ground a moves and a couple smashes, and some of the fighting moves of ssbm as aerials, all tied together with a Ganon( Oot form) Final smash?oh, and the standard throws for grap moves.

TP Gannon is awesome. WW has a beer belly. Besides, TP has the evil master sword thing.

I'd like to see a lot of focus on his magic, with a sword as a secondary ability used in maybe half of his standard attacks myself. He was a powerful sorcerer before obtaining the Triforce of Power, and supposed it amplified his abilities, so I think his Brawl moves should reflect that. A chargeable energy ball like he used in Ocarina, perhaps a lightning bolt special, some dark-energy force-push smash attacks, that sort of thing.

Personally, I don't care what he looks like - TP, WW, Ocarina, doesn't matter to me. I just want to see him with that sort of moveset.

I want him to have a sword obviously. Maybe his B move can be some kind of Dark Lightning blast, like a Bowser fire breath, but not breath it. Maybe his >B can be like his one in Melee. His vB can be a counter or something, and his up b can be like Marth's or something. His attacks can be sword and melee based. That would totally be beast.

His punches are now canon by the way. Warlock punch might be made a </>B move. Or just kept as B, and new moves added for left and right.

Anyway, give him the WW swords and a kinda updated OoT look (TP was eugh), and I'm happy.

yea, ganondorf is quite the brawler. before you actually start fighting in (ie. pre-final boss fight cinematic) WW he comes at link with his fists and pwns him!

it is possible to give him a new moveset while paying homage to his old one though. for example, you could replace his Up Smash with his 'lightsaber' appearing in his hand and following the same arc that his legs did, then at the end of the smash his sword vanishes again. just a though. bugger this: changing-his-whole-moveset-every-time-you-want-to-use-his-sword-crap.

it just doesn't strike me as Great-King-of-Evil-esque.....
