how to counter rolling/best character to counter rolling

rolling in For Glory seems really out of hand. Aerials feel especially slow in this game combined with the fact that every match is so laggy people that just roll over and over are almost impossible to catch.

Does anyone have advice on what to do in a situation where your opponent just rolls to run and won't stop rolling until you whif an attack.

I feel like I win 90 percent more games if I just spam roll over and over. I almost never get punished for it.

Uh, what do you mean by teching? As far as I recall, teching is when you use L/R to stand up/not bounce when you come across the ground/wall after being in the tumble animation.

Strategy is let him roll a bunch, watch the roll distance of that character, then line up a smash for that exact spot.
