How to approach?

I know you can approach using a shffl'd nair but that can't be the only way to? I've just started practicing Zard and what seems good to me is a Dash Canceled Dtilt , the spacing you can do with that is amazing , any ideas?

Approaching with grab has worked for me in the past, though Zard doesn't really have many safe approaching options. Just keep the opponent at the tip of your range and keep trying to punish them with your Nairs, Bairs, Fairs, Ftilts, Dtilts, Jabs, and grabs. Use your good ground speed and amazing dash dancing game to win the neutral game.

I find bairs are really good for spacing. Throwing a few out can open up good opportunities to approach.

RAR Bair / Nair is good, as is Dash canceled (insert giant ground move here)
