To its limits, I expect. The Home Menu takes years to open, the 3DS even restarts every time you close the game and you can't go on Miiverse or the Internet Browser. Is anyone gonna be getting the new 3DS when it comes out over here? I'd really like to but I might not be able to.

There is a lot of "Will I be getting the New 3DS" topics in the Nintendzone area of the forums. You should look there as you might find your answer there. And if you want confirmation of how good Smash is on the New 3DS, you'd better ask the J.ap people here. Or alternatively ask the Australians on or after 21/11/14

It pushes the 3ds to it's bloody limits, the poor thing. And people still want more content from it.

That's what they get for trying to have it keep up with the wii u version, instead of designing it to be it's own thing

It DID decide to be it's own 'thing' in a way.

Otherwise Smash Run and Streetsmash wouldn't have been a thing XP

I like smash run but I wish it was more like Kirby air ride where you could play it for 30 minutes at a time, and choosing the end game would make a lot more sense than just having it be random because then I don't know what to look for and there for it takes the strategy out of it.

What is this STREET SMASH you speak of?

Really all they had to do to make it work on the 3DS compared to the Wiiu is downgrade the graphics, which they did. Problem is they didnt downgrade it enough so it stresses the 3DS for sure lol.
Never buying a New 3DS though unless my current 3ds takes a dump. Wish they would just make a whole new handheld and not just a tweaked version of a handheld that has what four different versions now with minimal power improvements (excluding XL versions)?
The PVP Vita has much better graphics, and its been out awhile. Not like better handheld graphics/speeds is impossible.

I'm not sure if it's all the time, or if I'm just not paying enough attention, but it does tell you what the final battle is in those hints it gives you. It's usually fairly early too.

Yeah but it's still random.

If it gave you an option, and I do hope they patch this in, it'd be great.

It pushes its limits as much as it pushes on my nerves.

Maybe a little too far sometimes, as Smash 3DS did crash at least once on me, and forced the 3DS to restart itself.
I've heard that happen, unfortunately. It hasn't happened to me, but I tend to see things drag and take nearly 5+ seconds to bring up the Home menu at times. The latest update (to my knowledge) doesn't restart the 3ds any more when I closed the software, though I keep it in sleep mode the entire time to test it out. I've heard the problems happen more on regular 3ds.

On my end, the game crashed once while I was doing Smash Run with R.O.B.. It was during the Vs. Enemy Team event, and the match results were about to load. However, something weird happened while the results screen was loading, which caused the game to crash.

That happens to me sometimes too.

I noticed something unusual yesterday, though. Normally, when you insert the game card into the 3DS, the game should load and you can select it from the HOME Menu. However, Smash 4 didn't load at all; the game was in, but the icon didn't show up. I did this when the system was turned on. When I inserted the game before I turned on the 3DS, the game loaded.
That's strange since no other 3DS game has done this.

Sorry to hear that. If you're getting the Wii U version, you probably won't ever have to deal with that issue all but maybe the once-in-a-while random freeze. I've had it take around 10 or more seconds just to get to a results screen after a match online, but who knows if that's an internet/server issue trying to match up our session on both sides.

I mean, as good as Smash 3ds looks, it still looks bad, too :p (darn Wii U).

Yeah I did get a random crash with Mario Kart 8 and Hyrule Warriors at least once. Not every game can avoid crashes after all.
