How many starters and Who?

How many starter do you want and who would you want it to be. I know there had been pictures like this

But I feel that is just too much 36 is a lot and truly hope is not true.
If I were to pick who to start I would only start with the original 8 but we know that's not going to happen I love unlocking characters it's one of the best parts in smash too me.
Out of the picture above I would take out 2 fire emblem characters, palutena, pacman, sonic, mega man, rosalina, and greninja. Possibly toon link
