Smash 3DS How many of you actually play this game outside of your house?

Just had two flights total flying time of 3 1/2 hours all of it more enjoyable than playing candy crush or angry birds,

I play it at school since I usually have time before or after class. But whenever I have to go to the laundry mat I bring it with me to since it's quite possibly the best time killer that the earth has ever known

I bring it to school, my friends and I are fans of Smash Bros and we do like Smash 4. My friend gets a little salty when I beat him though because his Project M skills are superior to mine.

I play it in the coffee shop before I go to work when I have time tbh. Run through Classic mode a few times or hop on their Wifi and play some friends if I have the time. Its super useful to have just to keep busy and get some Smash fix

I also find incredibly interesting that you guessed I don't have many friends because when I go outside, I don't bring videogames with me. Very, very interesting.

To the others who didn't reply like I killed their dog and **** on it, good for you. I was just asking. I think I'd play it outside if it was a long trip on an airplane like some of you said, I just don't see the appeal of doing it when I'm not alone. Also, work isn't really the best environment to play for me. Not because it's wrong or anything like that, I just wouldn't find any fun in it, thinking that in 5 or so minutes I would've to go back on work.

Also school nah, I personally never wasted those precious 15 minutes of break to play videogames. Maybe I didn't have enough friends, I guess?

living in Newyork means i travel and commute alot, i take the Trains and Bus's everywhere, so i play while commuting.
I also attend meet ups in the city to play with friends in person :D In short, i have the mind of a Japanese gamer.

The fact that I live in Italy probably has some factor into it. I have only one friend with a 3DS and he doesn't like Smash Bros. that much. Even if he did, when I go out with my group it would be pretty weird for the two of us to just detach ourselves from the others and play a couple of matches in a bar.

What's your freaking problem? If people like to play outside it's because it helps them to pass time, Heck I have a job and go to university, have my own house, pay bills, go to the gym, go out with my GF and sometimes travel to my hometown, people like me enjoy playing smash, pokémon, etc on a portable console, it's because we have busy lives and sometimes we like to use that time to spare on a hobby, it's not like I go to the gym and play smash while I'm on the machines, or play pokémon while I'm on a fancy restaurant with my gf or family, You never use your phone outside? check facebook? play some android games? It's the same for people who play smash, and of course there's a time and place for those stuff, play smash in a street at freaking 2 am it's idiotic, you say people defend the idea of a portable game as an argument to defend it against the WiiU version, I barely use my homeconsole, then I have to used it everytime I'm at my house? NO!, I play when I feel to play or when I want to pass some time.

Besides it's not that you ask, it was the way you asked, of course some people will take it that way it's if a say "Dude using a phone to listen to music while waiting is wrong, you should read a book or do something better for your time" .

Portable means I can play it on the toilet (Wii U has this feature, too. Awesome.), in my garden or in the car. Rarely public transportation or waiting rooms.

It's good, in my opinion.

I play it outside of my house plenty! On campus in between classes, in the car going somewhere, when I'm waiting on someone else, and with friends whenever we hang out somewhere. Portable Smash has made things pretty easy in terms of playing together.

I play it at school during break and between classes. Its good in case my parents go for the mall after school too because that way I dont have to be bored to tears while my mother browses purses.

I still play it more at home, but also take it everytime I leave.

I only play it at my house, I honestly haven't had to bring it somewhere with me. I'd bring it to school but I'm afraid I'd lose it, I brought Pokemon X with me one time and I almost lost the cartridge because it popped out of my 3DS. I could probably play it on the bus, but I prefer to leave my 3DS at home. The whole "portability" thing really only worked out for the Japanese

It's fun to play with friends. Can't exactly lug around a wii everywhere, and wireless is a lot more fun and responsive than wifi.

Just once to kill some time in school (I had to wait for two hours to go to a presentation for a class). Even when the game is portable, I like to play at the comfort of my home... that and I can actually get opponents over Wi-Fi.

That too. Not that I've ever been robbed but I never feel comfortable brandishing out expensive devices and having my defenses lowered in public. Especially for a device that doesn't belong to me.

Aside from when I'm riding shotgun or backseat in a car ride, pretty much never. I need to concentrate when I play Smash and while I can do that while I'm out and about, I don't like to.

The only way I'm playing Smash 3DS outside of my house is when I'm playing it inside of one of my friends' houses. ¦D

I told you, it's ok to ask, but the problem was the way you asked, that's why people anwser you that way, you didn't ask in a polite or even normal way you asked like demanding and sounding like "Oh I'm sick of people defending the 3ds version with that argument over and over, I don't play it outside the bathroom so nobody else do it so be honest and enough of that silly argument" and it's true just read the OP , then people tell you why the play it outisde and you are rude to them just because they anwser your freaking question, you ask why people play outiside, and you start telling that people who play videogames outside where wrong and it was idiotic, you star attacking the people not the other way (Except for one a-hole that call you antisocial but It was only one and instead of taking it to that person or ignore him you start defending why playing smash on the go was wrong, that's the problem, if people tell you theuir reasons it's because they anwsering your question, and instead of say "Oh to each it's own" you star saying that listen to music is better than paying, that is sad to see people playing on a 5 minutes break, of course people get mad you are offending them and I told you why in my case I do it and you attack me to de defensive when you ask something, jeez man, It's ok if you dont like to play outside but don't judge people because they do it
