How many Amiibos do you plan to get?

As discussed in this thread, Amiibos could (optimistically) cost about $10-15 dollars per figurine, and the total cost of the every character so far is over $300-400 dollars. (or £180-250 pounds)

How many do you plan on getting? A few favorites, a lot, or none at all? I plan to collect them all. I might enjoy picking on my friends with the CPU feature, but for me it's because I'm a big fan of the series.

I'm getting Yoshi pretty much sûre at 100%. Now about others it will depends on the Amiibo quality and the in game character (If I like to play against mostly ) Maybe Chrom or Ike because of FE:A. Maybe Rosalina because of Mario Galaxy. I would mainly chose character from past games I've really love. (Which, I admit, with Nintendo, could be many...)

But overall I've forbidden myself to buy figurines in general, even if I find many of thoses very pretty, because I know that if I didn't I would have spent way to much money just for them to collect dust and take space on a shelf.

It honestly depends on their functionality; initially, I am going to purchase one for myself, and one for my sister. After that, if we like them, we are probably going to purchase one more each. Typically, we enjoy similar characters.

I am interested in: Peach and Zelda
She is interested in: Pit and Marth
We are both interested in: Samus

After that, even if we like them, I do not foresee us purchasing much more. It depends on the quality of the characters that we enjoy but have yet to see (Ganon and Toon Link for me, Bowser and Ike for her, Captain Falcon for us both).

10 is probably going to be our cap in that event. I do not believe that we will actually get that many though, and if we do, it will be over a large period of time.

Seriously, I've wanted to have trophies of fighters come to live and fight my friends trophies since I was in elementary. I shall get all of them; Probably get a special case to hold every future one too.

I'll try to get them all in 4-5 years. I think it's doable.
I'll get three at launch I guess, hopefully they'll come in discounted packages. I'll start with Yoshi, Link and Samus.

all zelda characters all mario characters all pokemon, pit, samus, kirby, villager, lucas(if hes back), olimar, game & watch, miis, megaman and sonic (if sega and capcom let nintendo make them) among others
