How little mac loses his KO punch?

So, after few testing, i found that if I hit LM with his KO punch on, he loses it. But the problem is for example a 9% hit from ganon will shut it down and a LM 8% don't. Somebody know anything about how the punch goes ?

From what I heard a huge hit can take Little Macs punch away, or after 5-10 seconds it will disappear.

I heard too that it disappear after 13 seconds but in fact, it's not true. I think it's a certain amount of knowback value who makes his punch away but i'm not sure.

First 6 seconds he can't lose it, after that any hit that puts him into a tumble animation will make him lose it.

Yeah, I think that's correct.

First 6 seconds he can't lose it, after that any hit that puts him into a tumble animation will make him lose it.

Thanks a lot. Knowking that, it will change how i face LM with KO punch on
