How likely is it in FG to get repeats?

Because I just got the same dude 3 times in the span of 20 minutes. Now I'm not sure if this is common or anything but.

The man I played with decided to do Wario dittos with me as we D-tilted and crawled in each others butts until the timer ran out <3

I think I heard somewhere that there's actually a match making rating system within the global smash power junk. It might just be matching you with him with the MMR system.

Though I don't know if that's legit or not.

I always get different people, and a lot of Japanese players!

I added a player called BANE from for glory to my friends list because we were both being polite with ggs and stuff like that. A week later I see the name BANE pop up in for glory with a little heart next to the name indicating were friends and it was the same person. It was really fun to run into him again and get to play more sets with someone I knew wasnt going to be a troll or a jerk. I think it's rare but when it happens it's pretty cool.

The most often thing to occur with me is for somebody to leave my room after a few games only to immediately reenters the room. On the Wii U version, I have a tag that specifically says "IMissedYou" for when it happens.

The only time I ever reunited with somebody on For Glory that I faced on a different day was on the 3ds with a girl named "TheKK-47". I remember facing her for a long time one day, and the very next day, when I play FG, she happened to be the very first opponent I faced. While I was glad to see her again at the time, I doubt she recognized me. My name on the 3ds, Austin, doesn't exactly stand out.

I've run into the same girl 5 times on For Glory doubles but, unfortunately she doesn't have friend requests on :<

It's a shame because she's really good, and we've had some pretty hype moments.

Just yesterday I left a game, rejoined, and got the exact same guy.

I promptly left again, because this guy had taken to just wasting my time on the results and character screens because he couldn't beat me.

It happens sometimes that an opponent from earlier that day will return to the lobby. Usually they see my Mii, realise that they evidently dropped out for a reason and drop out again.

I think I've only ran into the same person once or twice. Usually I play a variety of different Captain Falcons or Links.

I ran into some Shulk main named Nolasco like 3 or 4 times on the 3DS version while playing online, all on separate occasions. I think I've ran into a few people on the Wii U a few times as well, but probably only like 1 in 100 matches or so. The chances are pretty rare.

I literally yesterday jut got matched up with the same player two times in a row.

I beat him the first match, he quits, and I leave as I wanted to select a different character(hit start to fast and so was stuck with the character I used previously) I rejoin and pick the character I want, and then I get paired up against him again. Same name, same location, same character.

I got reunited with a noob once and he disconnected before the match started.

Maybe because I owned him big time like the noob that he is? I probably celebrated by owning the next guy.
