How is the D-Pad on the Smash Bros.-Pro Controller?

As you may or may not know, the D-Pad on the regular Switch-Pro Controller is pretty unreliable (most evident in 2D-Platformers like Kirby for example), so I'm looking to buy a new one. I heard that the Xenoblade-Controller has fixed the D-Pad issue, so I wonder if the Smash one has as well, since I prefer it. So if anyone could tell me how it is, that would be most apprechiated. ^^
