How is no one talking about this?

-Games like Link's Awakening and Daemon X Machina got spirits updates;
-Fire Emblem: Three Houses hasn't had any spirits yet;
-DLC Fighters all come with new spirits from their respective game;
-Even more playable characters outside the Fighters Pass have been confirmed to be in development;

That can only mean one thing: we're likely to get a Three Houses representative

Because it's

A) Stupid speculation
B) Was already obvious to anyone looking at the current glut of FE representatives in the roster.

Because if it wasn't obvious by how skewed the content in Smash already is, not every game gets treated the same. Just because some games get spirits doesn't mean another will get a fighter.

Don't forget also that Sakurai said they wanted to please as many fans as possible, and FE has already had one newcomer this game and seven fighters total. That's not even considering the trend of third party characters being DLC.

As someone who loves 3 houses I don't fancy the idea of it getting a newcomer. FE already has plenty of fighters spread out from 4 different games. I would throw up in my mouth of I saw Byleth or Edelgard get in Smash before Kirby or DK gets a fourth fighter. I'm not sure why more people aren't talking about that.

I agree with all that. Kirby specially is in dire need of more representation. Personally, I think Byleth would be a pretty interesting fighter but that's not the only reason why I would love him/her to join the roster. I guess it could be divided in three main reasons being:
-Like I mentioned before, I think he/she would be pretty interesting using the Sword of the Creator, the Crest of Flames, Combat Arms and even Battalions
-Three Houses OST is simply amazing and I would love some of those musics in Ultimate
-Expanding the "universe" of Smash Bros to include Three Houses. Sure, it's still Fire Emblem but honestly, Three Houses was really unique in its own way
That's just how I see it and of course if he/she doesn't get in it's understandable as to why
