How fast can you shine in place?

Hi I was wondering how fast can some0ne shine in place with fox and or falco. I am trying to learn how to pulse shine , or whatever it is called. I can do maybe 8, but I see people doing 2 super fast like in this image. How is this truely possible? Also another quick question, how do you run and then jab in place? Do you have to wavedash downward first to cancle your dash, and then jab? Thanks alot and GODbless friends.

Fast fingers and practice. Not much else to it.

You could either wavedash -> jab or dash cancel -> jab

To dash cancel, simply hit down while dashing and then do any move.

Doing shines rapidly is done through jumpcancelling.

DownB -> Jump out of shine -> DownB before you leave the ground

Quite useful for Falco's pillaring tactics, and also cool with Fox (much harder).

Some people use the control stick to jc shines, some use the claw method, whatever works for you.

i claw when i JC shine and its still not as fast as dashizwiz /cry. the most ive done is about 15 but that was just in training mode after about 15-20 minutes of trying so im not very good. i wish i could do it like prosmashertim

wow so people really can constantly shine that fast. I mean it's literally like no pause at all in between shines. But how can you switch to the claw method in the midst of battle then switch back?
