How do you use snakestepping?

Does anyone know how to do snakestepping? I try to do it but can only do it if a dash attack hits an opponent.

Do you mean the mortarslide/dash cancel?

If you can only do it when you hit an opponent than your Up Z input is too slow...just practice it...theres nothing else to it.
