I was watching an old Isai match earlier today and my friend came up to me and asked me who was playing the falcon. I told him Isai (pronounced like eye-zay-uh) and he goes, "you mean ee-sai-ah?" I was kind of flustered and I just told him that it was Isai. He then flat out tells me I pronounced it wrong.

I played videos for him in which players say Isai's name in the same way I pronounce it and he claims they're saying it wrong too.

So I only ask how did you say Isai's name when you first saw it?

eye-sai is how I first pronounced, looks nothing like isaiah by the way it's spelled

kinda dumb really, making up a name and then making up a strange pronunciation

hey guys my name is signia but it's pronounced insignia

though its more likely that only his tag is ISAI because of the 4 letters, full name Isaiah. He goes by malva00 on smashboards anyway (or mevsec on youtube)

I always pronounced it I-Zhay

Mostly because I knew a guy with the name Isaiah, and that's pronounced the way a lot of you are pronouncing it.
