How do you play neutral with Roy/Chrom

I’ve been getting into Chroy lately and I need help with playing neutral with them(and really just in general; I always find myself losing neutral and it screws up my entire game). I’ve been in a rut for a while now and would really love some tips on how to optimize these 2.

practice landing fair, upair and nair
then try to punish off of these (like falling upair sweetspot into bair)
jab and dtilt are always great quick options
try to do mixups on shield (like landing behind and ftilt)
and for killing in neutral is ftilt or if u have a good read or something: fsmash!
jab can combo into jump > sideb or fair/bair
