How do you organize your boxes?

Sort of self-explanatory...but everyone organizes (or doesn't organize) their boxes differently, so I thought it would be interesting to hear how everyone organizes theirs.

For the first three generations, I organized mine by type. But once I got to the fourth generation, and I racked up a large amount of Pokemon...well, I realized that there are too many Water Pokemon for that to be realistic, so I changed it. I can't remember exactly what I changed it to...but it was sort of a weird organization. For example, there was a "Legendary" box.

Finally, I decided I wanted to collect one of each Pokemon and set up my boxes in a "1-30", "31-60" fashion, with one box being Extras, and having extra space for storing teams in the second to last box.

I organize by type.

Let me see...Most boxes have one or two types, with names like "FIron" and such. One box has utility critters, one box has Ubers (Wobbuffet, Hitmontop) and pre-Ubers (Chansey, Larvitar), and one box has current, former, and future party monsters (Steelix, Omastar, Flareon). The dual-typed boxes are split vertically and I try to keep families and similar monsters together. Legendaries are mixed with the rest, but eggs are typically kept where they'll be after they hatch.

I still orginize by type and have 1 box for team pokemon. I have 2 for water >.>

When I used to play...I organized by type...except I combined some boxes:

Ghosts and Dark
Grass and Bug

The extra 2 boxes I used for Legendaries and Ultimates.

I've always organized based off of level. However, I did have extra boxes for Legendaries, level 100, and eggs (I made like... 1,000 of those things).
