snake does Nair (full combo, not partial) and does not land on the platforms.

i cannot do the full combo without landing on the upper platform on Battlefield,

is there a trick to do this or do u just spam two jumps really quickly >: (?

edit:

also, any tricks to using Dair? i think it sucks because of the huge lag time after you land. Haven been trying this one lately

Yeah, the key is to make a full hop without fastfalling for Nair. Also make sure that you use the attack as soon as you start rising.

For the case of Dair, it's pretty much the same, but you can also execute it from a short hop. The important thing is just to make sure that you don't fastfall. I find it best to SH, and then C-stick down for this. Also, if lag's still an issue, making sure you hit with the final hit of the attack should get rid of all your lag issues:laugh:

Fullhop. If you can't get the 4th kick out, you aren't executing the move quickly enough. Try holding X and tapping A at the same time, then you'll see when to start the move. Then, it's a matter of knowing when Snake will be able to perform aerials (don't get too frustrated on this one. Snake takes 9 frames to jump. That's about the speed of Melee's Bowser).

Snake's first jump is great. It's high enough to get off his airials with ease(once you get a feel for them), and is low enough to get him back on the ground in time to kick even more ***.

you should be able to do it easily, i use y (i think its y... the one to the right of A) and i just press y with the right side of my thumb, then roll it over to hit A so my thumb is pressing both buttons. should be easier if you use x to jump.

just do it faster, its like not being able to wavedash in melee
