I hate to be non-productive here, but maybe you should just get yourself a different operating system. Not only will you save heartache in the future, but you will also join the growing revolt against Microsoft's monopolistic and capitalistic pig tyranny.

...and remember, some Linux distributions are free! Yay!

EDIT: MAJORITY of distros are free.

yea linux is great, but not for everyone....yet

linux might not even be compatible with the nintendo wifi connector, if thats what hes using. once he answers that question i can help him out.

but yea, vista is no way near as secure as it needs to be yet

I was just talking about, "in general". I wasn't even touching the wifi compatibility issue. I just like Tux. :chuckle:

I don't understand your point. First you just have to be more specific next time... GOTM is right about the questions, he helped you on being more specific. Now, why didn't you do what your friends did? why didn't you asked to your friends about that program?

On a side note, I guess you need a driver to do that. Ask your friends to give it to you.

my roomate uses a wifi connector and once it was installed, everything that has needed to be connected to it has worked fine without error.

i guess i would need to know the exact situation though. try uninstalling and reinstalling it with the CD it came with if you got the software offline from nintendo or something. you could have downloaded the wrong driver? or a lot of times this happens, you could have connected it before installing the drivers, or followed the process wrong.

that effects some products more than others but its a thought...
