Thanks.The key to being good in Smash is always assuming that theres room for improvement. That way you are open to learn things and you don't think you can't learn and take advice. A good way to tell if you're good is to figure out whether you go auto pilot during a match. If you find yourself not thinking about your actions then someone who does think will be able to beat you. If you can do tech skill pretty consistently then I'd say thats pretty decent. Try and go to tournaments and play people you know are good. Then you can see where you stack up.
This is the wrong place for this kind of stuff though.
Would laugh my ass off if this guy was actually the world's greatest Smash player and had no idea.Play against other competitive players.
If you get your *** kicked most of the time, then you are probably below average.
If you go almost 50/50 without majorly leaning towards wins or losts, you are probably average.
If you tend to win most of the time you play competitively and can give the pros a bit of a tough time, then you are probably above average.
If you can go toe to toe with the likes of M2K, Zero, Mango, PPMD, and other players that are considered the best of the best and win consistently, then you are probably a pro.
