Smash 3DS how do we unlock timed stock settings?

Honestly just came to Smashboards and was about to post the same topic. I've read 200 matches, "play a lot", but nothing definitive.

I unlocked them soon after I unlocked all the characters by playing versus only. Its an unlock called "more options" or something like that.

I'd really like to know too. Is it really 200 matches? (Oh jeez). I've unlocked all the characters, stages, and so much more but I haven't unlocked the additional rules...

For what it's worth, I unlocked the extra rules a while ago and currently only have a bit over 90 vs matches and don't even have every character unlocked.

Sorta within the topic, anyone else thinks it's extremely silly how they offer the choice to turn off the damage counters in the options... Then having a separate option for doing the same as an unlockable extra option within the versus mode?

I've got 200 matches played and I don't have it unlocked, so I don't think it's that.

Anyone know if you can unlock the option to turn friendly fire on in teams? I can't find the option, and it's going to be a major disappointment if it's not in the game at all.

It's right there in the unlockable additional rules.

I think the only thing missing is the random stage switch.

It is? Thank you. That's good to know. I was hoping it would be in there (I haven't unlocked them yet).

Edit: Just unlocked them right after posting that. I got random stage switch, too! So it's definitely in the game.

I unlocked it at about 237 or 236 vs matches I don't know how I did though

Random Stage Switch unlock as soon as you get all stages. (I've got additional rules already unlock by that time, not sure if thats necessary).
