How do i Smash with the C-Stick?

Unfortunately you can only use the c stick in Vs Mode =(
In 1 player mode it controls the camera.

If you want to practice tech skill, don't go to single player, since it will only zoom in and out like jmorsch said. If you want to use the c-stick the only option is to go to multiplayer mode and play with computers or with another player.

Like stated above, you sadly cannot use the C-stick in Single player, however, if you're using Dolphin or have a hacked Wii, you can try out Achilles' 20XX training pack. It's very helpful, though getting to work (at least for me) is difficult as all hell.

Also, something I legit didn't know until recently, if you press Z as you smash with the stick, you will charge your smash attack.

to practice tech skill, plug in a second controller, so you can play VS (for cstick) without anything attack you.

Assuming you're not trolling and you're new, you've probably noticed that C-stick does stronger attacks in VS mode. To do the same attack, (although it will be harder to master) hold the direction of the attack and then press A. This will give you a charge, and then when you let go, it will give the same c-stick attack.

FYI, this is called a tilt.

But yeah, just like everyone else said, you can only use it in VS mode. Advanced players use it mostly to help with their aerials in game.
