Also you have to remember once Nana leaves Popo's box of control she becomes a really stupid level 1 CPU. There isn't much at all she can against a Fox. She's a free meal. yum.

Look how mango does it. Drill between climbers and shine to separate them, then kill Nana immediately. Drill is negative on shield so many climbers see it as "unsafe", they hit a button, and get shined.

Pretty much just shine and drill to split them up

Drill and aim for the center of Nana and Popo. Shine them both and get good at targeting Nana and Popo seperately, and avoiding Popo while you're hunting down Nana.
Also, a bad drill is a grab. A smart climber will wobble you.
So... Just don't.
