How do I approach Luigi?

Alright, to me, Luigi is weakness !! I have a really hard time approaching him. I realize running towards him is useless do his annoying dash attack lol. About chunked my controller last night b'cuz of him (x_x) Should I approach doing an air move? Maybe wave dashing n try to grab? Or should I camp out n let him approach me?
