(he is 11 but he has a mental *********** called downsyndrome, which makes him not too good at smash)

what is a good way to practice

so far i have been practicing on lvl 7 cpus, but i hear that they arent too good to train against

what should i do?

If you have wifi, I suggest battling people over it. Use the Faux Finder (search it) to find people to train with.

I'd say get wifi...then you can train against people from all over the world. Although some people say playing on wifi sucks. There's also probably some kind of tournament or smash group or something of that nature near you. If you can't do either of those things you can try finding the board for the character you main and reading the threads in it...I found a lot of useful stuff in the Kirby and Link boards.

These threads have been made in the last 2 (!) pages of GBD - about how to get better and train properly:

And then there are three very wise threads in Tactical Discussion:

Last but not least, I'd like to quote the General Brawl Discussion Courtesy (that clearly says "READ BEFORE POSTING"):
You're NOT Original!
You might come up with a really cool idea one day, like a "Coolest Music" thread, or a "Favorite Costume" thread. Before you get all excited about posting it on Smashboards, skim the first few pages, or use the search function. Odds are, it's been done before.

How is what he said mean? Its the truth... The only person I see being mean is YOU. Anyway, I would suggest Wifi, battle LVL 9 computers, and watch pro videos.

I would advise to play computers to practice spacing, and maybe meet up with a few people online to add to your mind games.

Other then that, try the regional boards! They just might help you find some Smashers in your area! =D

LAGGGG is a common problem with wifi so its really not that good so what i would recomend is that you find people near by and who like smash brothers as much as you dew so you can train with them to learn characters who you want to use. but fornow just keep train ing with cpus until you can consist ently beat the most difficult cpus with your character who you want to use well and get good with really greatly.

Not cool Spadefox. Getting kidnapped is serious business.

It happened to me when I went to tournement once. They made me by then new gamecube controllers.
Serious ****.
