Your fox actually looks pretty good, but there are a few things that I will suggest.

1. Shinespike more. shinespikes are fairly easy to pull off versus a Falco, so you could try to get more of those in

2. Shield grab. Often when you shield his attacks, you SH out of your shield to N-air. while this isn't exactly a bad approach, it can be much more effective sometimes to just grab during your opponents lag so you can start a combo.

3. SHFFL. You can obviously SHFFL aerials fairly well, but alot of times you approached with a dash attack, into a dash attack, into another dash attack. there's lots of lag on that attack, so it's lucky that you weren't punished everytime you missed with one.

4. JC grabs. simply put, I saw some actual dash grabs during your matches. IMO, there is really no place for dash grabs... ever.

other than that, it looks very promising. You've got the SHL down pretty good, and also you used waveshining effectively. keep up the good work. hope these comments help.

p.s. I wasn't paying close enough attention to the Falco to properly critique him. sorry :p

Both seem pretty decent, but the falco should work more on shine combos, and you... learning thunder's combo may help you a lot...

Fox is fine, needs work on edgeguarding. Basically whenever Falco is off the stage, stick a jab out there to interrupt his side-B then just shinespike him, or get on the edge fast and start back-airing.

Falco needs work on being more gay in that matchup (camp and space more but not constantly, don't approach so much, learn to defend against getting jumped on). You also need better combos, you're not wavedashing out of your shines which is VERY important, you'll find you combo much better.

Both players need practice with DI.

I second this. I recently learned to do thunder's combo more or less fluently (I'm getting better :p), and I have to say I'll never go back. It's a very quick 40%, sometimes even more if you lead in with a dair, and it's **** near the equivalent of Falco's **** shine combos on you, not to mention it looks **** sexy

As for the rest of your Fox, most of it has been mentioned, but I'm going to emphasize not over-using your dash attack. Rising nair -> shine is nicknamed the "Falco killer" for a reason. It's very tough for a Falco to get through it, and it'll never leave you vulnerable even if it misses. Shffled nairs are safe too, and should be used as a mix up, though Falco has more ways of responding to it (usualy fulljump to fastfalled dair -> shine)

As for the Falco, you really need some more tech skill. Waveshines especially. You'll be able to chain long combos on a Fox with waveshines and dairs, and if you follow DI right, you can 0-death him (not likely, but possible). As already mentioned, work on your SHL, you don't use it nearly enough. Well spaced lasers are a pretty safe approach against any enemy.

fox needs to thunder combo and falco needs to shine combo...badly that falco would do much better if he got some shine combo's in. work on the ledge guarding and ledge teching too.

You don't need momentum for thunders, you can do it after shffls and full hopped attacks .

Yup, maybe his problem is with the long wavedashes... you need to make a long wavedash to be able to connect with the jab when doing thunder's combo. Also you can do this as an alternative to thunder's combo: After one upthrow(or some lasers instead) you can wait him to fall and tech chase into: uair>up smash>grab(you may need to walk a little) and then continue to CG or upthrow>uptilt or up smash...
