I've been able to join people who have hosted a p2p, but everytime I host and give them my ip they are unable to connect. I read somewhere about you have to forward your ports or w/e that's supposed to mean. My firewall was also blocking it so I set pj64k as an exception. If anyone can help/show me what i need to do, please do so.

Thank you for all your help.

you should search port forward and your router model in google.
you should forward it using udp.

Well I managed to find out that my router is a Ambit and it's model # is U103019.

BUT

My router is not listed at portforward.com and doesn't have even 1 search result on google. D:

Try the instructions at portforward.com for the other models of your brand's router. They probably won't be all that different.

Enter the ip address to forward these ports to into the Local IP box. If you are forwarding ports so you can run a program on your computer, you should enter your computer's ip address into that box. If you are forwarding a single port, enter that port number into the Internal Port, Ext Start Port and the Ext End Port boxes. If you are forwarding a range of ports, enter the lowest number of that range into the Internal Port, Ext Start Port box. Then enter the highest number of that range into the Ext End Port box. Use the Protocol drop down box to select the protocol type of the ports you are forwarding. Put a checkmark in the Enable checkbox.
1. Find your computer's local IP address (the one assigned by your router). You can find this by going to Start -> Run -> cmd.exe -> type in "ipconfig" (no quotes), press enter -> look at the address next to "IPv4 Address."
2. Type it into the Local IP box on your router's configuration page.
3. In "Internal Port," "External Start Port," and "External End Port," enter 27886, as that will probably be the port you will be using to host P2P.
4. Under "Protocol," select "Both."
5. Check the "Enable" box.
6. Click "Apply."
7. Try it out.

Thanks so much :D but this is all it shows and doesn't include a IPv4 address

I edited out the numbers just in case someone can use them, because I have no idea if they can or not lol

Edit #1 Also do I have to connect my pc to the router for IPv4 to show up?

Edit #2 Well i connected pc straight to router and that didn't make IPv4 come up in cmd. :/

Edit #4 p2p is working now thanks to Agent 21.

Blue Yoshi you can close this thread now if you need too.
