I don't understand why Nintendo won't just release that demo on the wii channel, instead only a select few ever get to play it at some convention.

Good point, seeing as it is only in one area, I think they should get a demo for all out there, maybe they'll generate more hype

Why not make it downloadable onto the Wiiware Channel? Because that would be impossible. That demo would take up almost the entire capacity of the Wii's internal memory. And the people that have saved and downloaded a bunch of games would be screwed unless they start deleting.

As almost everyone is saying, pack it with NP :p, I've said this like 14 times so far :p.

No one said you had to download it and no one said it had to be identical to the one showing up at "E for all" (but that would rock) heck I'd be happy with 4 characters and 1 map as long as I got to play the game. Or why not pack it with NP or something.

You said "I don't understand why Nintendo won't just release that demo on the wii channel". I assumed you meant downloaded.

A demo disk in NP or sent directly to Gamestops nationwide for reserves seem to be the best ideas.

This is why Nintendo needs to make a harddrive, I have a $10 MP3 with 512MB, that's the same space the Wii has and I find it really really really really sad.

Wake up Nintendo 512MB is nothing. They should let us at least use SD cards >.<

I'm pretty sure the SD slot is right in the front of the Wii... You can then clean up your Wii's internal memory by moving everything else onto the SD card.

You can't transfer VC games which are the main things taking space on people's Wiis. We still need a hard drive.

dont you know

california is the best place to live in the usa. Nothing beats it when it comes to games, conventions, anything. Not north cal , but so cal rules for everything. Cost of living here will kick your butt too.

**** rich people. I wish I had money to fly down there and play the game. Even if it was for only 10 minutes or less. (of course it'd be only part of the trip but also the highlight)

Well I think you have to be pretty rich to fly down from Toronto to California, get to the convention, play the game, do random other things and fly back >_>

The best thing to do (imo) would be to have the demo shipped to game stores. Then they could sell the demo for $10. Thatd be reasonable.

Or you know, just pack it with Galaxy.

It's too bad that only California gets all of this. The midwest and east need a chance too.
Psh, not even all of California... Just LA, and that's a 6 1/2 hour drive with minimal traffic on days that I have to work. What makes Southern Californians so special?

I think making brawl a download is completely impossible... it's just to big, and the download would take forever. what I dont understand, is why not just print a couple thousand copies of the demo they have already made and ship them to gamestops across the country in a few weeks, just to be playable at the store.

If a demo is released to the public it would probably limit it more than the current demo already does. Meaning like only 4 charaters and one stage to play. I would rather wait for the full game and be blown awy all at once.
