anyway Marth players, i love your character. so graceful and fun.

but yeah i have a few questions.

firstly, his side-B. sometimes it doesn't keep you at the same elevation and you descend slightly instead. is this random, or is it like jump-dependent or what?

also, does Marth have the best priority in the game?

There is a marth questions thread. Probably a better place for it.

Aerial priority doesn't exist, but marth has a disjointed hitbox (his hitbox is not part of his hurtbox, aka his body) so in the air he wins a lot.

Sideb has 1 good use in the air and the rest are bad. You can refresh it by canceling an animation on the ground (landing a move or wavelanding)

Actually you have to land in a neutral stance or wavedash. Try it, use the Dancing Blade and then L-cancel a fair on landing. Your next Dancing Blade won't float you.

Priority really isn't as people say it is.

wouldn't i be standing in a neutral stance after the fair? -_-;; i may be misunderstanding.

To reset the non floaty forward b, just do an empty shorthop and it'll go back to normal.
hmm.... ill see if this is always the case.

are you sure? pretty sure i've done two before one caused me to descend. im prob wrong though.

anyway thanks for the feedback so far.

You have to land on the ground in a neutral position. So if you're attacking while landing, you won't get it reset. Wavedashing resets it too, I believe.

It's not that the rest suck, it's just that they don't give you the same lift.

oh i guess i'm wrong about landing a move. I know wavedashing/wavelanding works to refresh it, moving around the stage with sh->turnaroundsideb->waveland->repeat is too smooth
