I just did it once, i'm not even sure how it worked.

I'm sure we all have problems with homing attacks post lag; I canceled it just once.
I'll give more specifics.

I think if you use homing attack, and you land, and enter lag near an edge, move the control stick towards that edge. It somehow got rid of the lag.

I'll keep testing, but just thought i'd give the heads up. Unless this is already taken. Darn, i hate it when it is.

Okay man, you are new, and like me (ridiculously) when I first joined, are getting a bit post-happy. Take a deep breath and slow down. Post count means nothing against post quality (i realised this all too late).
If you keep posting how you are now, everyone will forever dub you a scrub, and you don't want that.

Alright. I know when to take advice. But I'll finish up by saying yeah, it is possible to cancel but very unlikely. You have to be in post lag, and have landed at the very edge of an edge. Push forward, and you'll swap from lag into his edge animation, canceling the lag. Ok, I'm done.

I'm just your problem~
Probably just ledge canceling. Do laggy moves and the teeter animation from being near the edge of a stage/platform cancles out the lag.

it doesent really matter, people on sonic boards only listen to 3 people. If you find somthing new they wont beleive you unless you have video proof, and its completely pointless to ask ppl to test things. they wont.

for the most part if u dont have a recognizable name, you will get told to gtfo (as a joke), but u will probobly take it seriously , as you are new.

of course u could get lucky and make a really funny spelling mistake and endup KASR(god) status.

between all the noobs and sonic mains (who essentially are comedians, who only play brawl as a joke) . this board literally consists mostly of steak (be it spam, or be it funny... you decide)

It's this one.

Also, on another note, someone had suggested that using spring will cancel the lag from homing attack.

It's not true.

It only worked when I:
1) bounced from hitting the floor [you can move at the top of the bounce]
2) ended Homing Attack just high enough from the ground for it to finish slightly before I landed.
