Hitmonlee in Saffron City problem...

Remember when hitmonlee would come out of the elevator in Saffron City and yell " Primape -ape-ape-ape-ape" Well, forgive me for sounding like a pokenerd, but that's the wrong voice right? I'm pretty sure a lot of people noticed that since pokemon was pretty popular while smash 64 was out, so does anyone know why the programmers got the voice mixed up?

He's obviously saying Primape, possibly because he was originally supposed to be Primape and not Hitmonlee? The manner of attack would fit either one.

And yeah. This has bothered me since the game came out.

Maybe not. I haven't played smash 64 in like 5 or 6 years, so my memory might not be so great on what Hitmonlee actually said, but I do remember hearing Primeape somewhere
